UNITED STATES – Internet record label Microsongs has released Maudlin Joe, a new "open source" EP from Tron F. Kennedy, on "all legitimate music platforms".

Earlier this year Tron released his third album, Me and Julio, along with a free sample pack of sounds and loops from the album. Maudlin Joe is an open source EP created entirely with sounds from that sample pack.

Interested parties can download the Ableton packs of the five EP tracks to explore and remix the songs.

The EP and Ableton packs are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). MP3/FLAC versions are available for free download at tronf.net.
