Maudlin Joe

In February 2022, Tron F. Kennedy released his third album, Me and Julio, along with a free sample pack of sounds and loops from the album. Maudlin Joe is an open source EP created entirely with sounds from that sample pack.

These five new songs were created using only stock instruments and effects in Ableton Live 11 Suite: the samples from the sample pack are the only sound sources. You can download the Ableton packs to dive in to explore and remix the tracks, or generate your own unique version of the EP. Each song contains random elements so every playthrough in Ableton will be unique; the versions captured in the EP can't be reproduced.
